What Scale Should I Choose?

NovaAnvil miniatures are available in different scales to suit tabletop gamers, painters and collectors.

The scale refers to the intended size of the character, not necessarily the miniature’s exact total height. Weapons, horns, wings, poses and bases can make the finished model taller or wider.

Typical character size: approximately 28–35mm for a human-sized character, depending on how the original sculpt is scaled and measured.

Important: Scale ≠ Exact Height

A 75mm scale miniature is not guaranteed to measure exactly 75mm from the bottom of the base to its highest point.

For example, a character holding a sword overhead or a creature with large wings may be considerably taller.

Likewise, dwarves, goblins and other shorter fantasy races remain proportionally shorter than human characters even when printed at the same scale.

Exact dimensions may vary from model to model.
